A note taking app cannot be taken seriously for any kind or PKM or TFT if they do not have internal linking and back links, tags and search. Notably, in your essay you say Apple Notes lack robustness in all three features. I use Apple notes for convenience but won’t take it seriously for research or PKM/TFT, far from being a BASB tool that Tiago Forte talks about. But then BASB is basically nonsense anyway.
