Go for it Diana. As Tiziano writes so well, it is a life changing experience. Always, while you are in the retreat, silently watch your feeling and mental formations. That’s the real thing. And if it helps, at each session, may want to count silently 500 breaths to start with, but definitely NOT focus, instead just be AWARE of the breath,like a Watchman who watches people coming in and out of a building. That’s the fun at least what I discovered for myself that helped me to enjoy the retreat and would like to pass on if it helps. The trick is to watch, watch, watch. :-)
