Hi Mrinal-da,

শারদীয় প্রণাম first and foremost.

As I have written ever so often, you are telling us a fascinating tale, you are a great story teller on all counts, so “boring” is a wrong word to use! But “busy” perhaps, being somewhat distracted with other activities. We have school holidays these couple of weeks, and took the kid for what we call here “tramping” (a combination of hiking in the forests, kayaking, and simple activities, kind of deliberately getting lost in Nature). Hence the absence.

I will be away again for a conference in a nearby city and will be travelling. When I come back, will keep an eye out for the stories.

No worries, no specific comment at the moment, other than a quick question, was the press where you were working for anywhere close to the (in)famous Harkata Lane (হাড়কাটা গলি) near Medical College? Speaking of raunchy stories in newspapers/magazines/publishing near college campuses, when we were studying in Medical College, we knew students and professors who published using pen names চটি বই (pocket books) that sold like hot cakes and got a fair bit of readership in their days. Not the anatomists though.

Boys will be boys, I suppose (sigh), ;-)
