I appreciate your efforts at producing original “human” contents. In an age of sophisticated AI tools, it is getting impossible to differentiate between humans and machines that generate stories. Partly because of our semantics of writing facts. Facts are written by machines and humans alike but we must find a way to differentiate humans from robots and that is where human emotions, “hot takes”, and conversational engagement becomes important. There has to be a conversational space. It is that conversational space that makes Reddit human, and the lack of a conversation around searches that make Google robot (or Amazon a robot space). Medium is human, to my mind not because of the stories as such but because, rather of the conversational space it creates. I genuinely respect your sentiment to reclaim web for humans and for what it was meant to be: a connectome of ideas rather than a dry space for information (that we can have in dictionaries and smart encyclopaedias).

I certainly see a lot of values in what you have written there. If it is politics, so be it. At least that makes it human.
