Pointless that these apps charge so much. The best productivity app is the one you actually use. It might be as simple as the free Simplenote and Emacs Org-mode made to suit your style. Perhaps a paper notebook and pencil. I have not been impressed with Roam Research what with their cult like following, quite silly to be honest. Plenty of other apps do the same thing at zero cost.
