Since Mastodon version 4.0, they do not talk about “tooting”, you just post I think. The real thing is known as Fediverse by the way. Mastodon is just an app in the ActivityPub protocol. For a respectable and widely read tech blogger such as yourself, I would love to read you use the proper tech perspective on these things.
