So I was here in this conference and someone has written an R meta-package etc. I meekly asked the guy how about Julia. Pat came the reply that they had considered #Julia ten years ago, and it didn't meet their needs.

I am sick and tired of these bullshit logic that Julia is new, julia is not popular. Those of us who use Julia on a daily basis and love it need to do something about it. Keep these articles flowing, they are very helpful.
