Too complicated workflow I must say, so even if I were to adopt your workflow, I’m not sure I’d be able to sustain it beyond a few weeks (I normally find most of your workflows very useful and nice, hence the comment). Why not just create tags in Pocket and read through Pocket alone? I also find Refind an excellent tool these days (it keeps getting better). Refind allows you to import instapaper lists. Medium also allows you to save.
I believe we should aim for some sort of minimalism.
My need for reading is mostly reading scholarly literature and some news, so I find tools such as Mendeley, Zotero, and Papers for Mac really useful for that purpose. Zotero in particular.
